New Assignments

After you finish your story (make sure it is peer-edited and revised), please work on the following:

1. Go through your work from this marking period and choose your best piece to revise. Add to it, change it, fix it, etc. Make sure to add the new date and the words post-assessment to it. Save this and we will print it after the printer is repaired.

2. When you are done with this, go through these links and choose a prompt that jumps out at you. Start writing!

Exploring Character

Bell Work

Note: Those who had lessons on Monday should print their character profile sheets when they print their bell work.

3. Complete chart using the list of character traits provided to you. (Short Story Planning)

2. Discuss with classmates.
3. Decide if we want to swap with a partner or not.

1. Write down homework if you do not finish today's task.
2. Clean up your space, log off your computers and push in your chairs.

Finish your character profiles and/or setting descriptions to be prepared for tomorrow's lesson.

Your Task:
Chose from the templates on the printing press interactive tool to publish a newspaper, informational brochure, or flyer.

You may choose any topic you would like. Just remember it should be informative. Think travel, school, events, etc. Be creative and have fun!
